Langley Gulch Power Plant

The Kiewit Power Engineers and TIC – The Industrial Company team was awarded the contract for all design, engineering, engineered equipment procurement, construction, startup and performance testing services for the 300-megawatt nominal natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant. The owner will provide the Siemens 5000F combustion turbine generator and Siemens ST-700/900 reheat steam turbine generator. The plant will also include a Vogt triple-pressure heat recovery steam generator. 

The Langley Gulch Power Plant will be located in a high load area for the owner, but will also help improve the reliability of their entire system, increasing the amount of power available inside of their service territory. The plant is vital for continued economic growth in the area by ensuring an adequate, affordable, clean energy supply.
