The TransCanada projects consisted of several crude oil pump stations spread from the Canadian border in eastern North Dakota to the southern border of South Dakota continuing through Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. The project also utilized fabrication shops that TIC set up in Tower City, N.D., Fargo, N.D., Huron, S.D., and Freeport, Texas. Each station was unique in size and layout but all shared the following details:
Technical Details
- Mass excavation, cut and fill, and structural foundation excxavtion for each site
- Civil Scope included all associated Pilings and Foundations
- Structural Scope included Structural Steel supports, Decks, Ladders & Platforms and Cold Storage building erection
- Electrical Scope included all electrical and controls for each station Mechanical Scope included setting and aligning 3‐5 mainline pumps at each station
- Piping Scope included Field Fabrication and installation of all Small Bore piping, installation and Hydrotesting of approximately 700 Pipe Spools
