Ocean Terminal Wharf Expansion

TIC is demolishing seven berths along the Savannah River at the Georgia Ports Authority’s Ocean Terminal Facility. This work will reposition the new wharf face approximately 100 feet inland, allowing larger vessels to dock without interfering with the navigational channel. The new wharf will span 2,800 linear feet and feature two modern berths, designed to accommodate two vessels of 14,000 TEU or larger, aligning with future growth in cargo capacity and vessel size.
