Pipemakers Canal and Bridge Widening

TIC – The Industrial Company (TIC) was responsible for replacing the existing canal bridge, which needed to be widened and lengthened to meet modern safety standards and to accommodate the Georgia Ports Authority’s mega rail project.

TIC has performed additional projects for GPA along the Pipemakers Canal that include widening and realignment of the canal and other improvements to facilitate better flow of storm water, as well as road construction, storm drainage installation, forcemain relocation and the replacement of six, flap-style tide gates.
