Plant Riverside Riverwalk

TIC constructed the Riverwalk for Kessler Collection’s Plant Riverside on a compact site along River Street. TIC was among many subcontractors on site, with over 450 workers and 13 cranes occupying the five-acre site at peak. TIC’s work included driving concrete piles, steel H piles and sheet pile bulkheads, as well as constructing bulkhead caps, transverse caps, precast deck slabs and a topping slab to complete the riverwalk deck. Additional tasks included storm drainage installation through the bulkhead, foundation piles for pavilions and excavation of the parking garage using cranes and barges. With no on-site storage, all materials were delivered by barge from TIC’s local office across the river.
